@real_dreamr @atlanticesque If you're already drinking, it just creates a dynamic that's weird. You're being vulnerable and comfortable, but they aren't. Sure they don't *have* to drink to be comfortable or vulnerable, but it's pretty uncomfortable to be inherently vulnerable while the other isn't.

Like idk, I didn't take away much from it other than, "Wow bear sucks" and "Wow that was really uncomfortable" which is typical of horror movies. I feel it lacked a lesson other than, "hey maybe be a little more proactive and confrontation and also be a better person"

I think you can definitely make a great point about how Obsession portrays rape but I feel it's super reductive to say "it's a movie about RAPE, the point is RAPE". As if it's not also about trauma, mental illness, relationship dynamics, and whatever else. Also its a horror movie
