Just back from visiting the pro-Palestine encampment at UVA, the (related?) pro-Palestine protest on the upper Lawn, and a jazz concert on the lower Lawn. The vibe everywhere is chill. This is only possible because @presjimryan chose to keep the police presence very minimal.

I think the moral content of a protest matters, I think it’s the single most important thing actually, and the elaborate media pseudo debates about tactics, electoral impact etc—where we discuss everything but the moral content—is because the righteousness of the cause is obvious

There are some elected officials that I’ll never forgive after this week is through. We have got to speak up against these injustices. We’re really going to lose this election because only a select few had the guts to stand up and quite frankly - we will have deserved it.
