@SandyofSuffolk It’s quite funny, both have their die hard regulars and the rest of the village that drinks shares their time equally between the 2 pubs. It’s going to be a shame to leave and go back to being a full time West Londoner but for now such is life.

@Kick_the_chair @dpaudits If the person you asked to leave/refuse to serve makes a complaint/accusation the police and or CPS do have a duty to address it. It really is the dependent on your response to their inquiries as to the reason for non service. All fairly straight forward really.

@ivorsawbottom @SandyofSuffolk Not entirely true, there is provision in the regulation for a developer to pay the local council a negotiated cash sum to forgo the need to make/build a percentage of the site available as social housing. In return the council is supposed to use the cash to build its own stock.

@ListerLawrence I’ve only got to zero once when I had an MG4 an I got about 12 miles out of it at zero. Don’t know if it would have done more as I had reached the charger.

@DavidWater86219 @TheMeldrew Bad apples? They are doing the job they were formed for it’s just a shame the Government, past & present, have abused them. Border Force have at least 12 vessels moored in Ramsgate but don’t have the manpower to operate all of them as it’s cheaper to use & abuse a free service.

@DavidWater86219 @TheMeldrew There are 254 lifeboat stations around the UK only 4/5 of them get called on by Border Force or the Coastguard to rescue small boats. The rest are carrying out daily rescues of far away from the English Channel and as a regular sailor I really appreciate and support the RNLI.
