You say "hey I don't really have a clear view of which is right and which is wrong, so here's the balance of information".

@SawyerMerritt I think a little bit of a miss on this one, if they'd squared off the nose and given it a bit more of a retro look on the profile I think it'd have been a banger, but that kinda squashed look isn't as fun as their past designs.

If AI is improving your pace and quality of code, then great, more power to you, but then you weren't a very good coder in the first place. I have not found any LEGITIMATELY expert coder (not just some self-proclaimed one who believes vibe coding is equivalent to expertise) who finds AI coding tools useful at this time.

Plus, you know what's even worse than sitting around waiting for AI to come up with a solution? Context switching away from the AI, then coming back to it, only for it to not have solved your problem, requiring you to now reprompt it with additional information in the hope that it didn't just hallucinate an API and will fix itself, and then context switch _back_ to one of the myriad of other AI driven solutions you were working on which may also require reprompting or "finessing" to get working.

That is quite frankly not what she points out in the slightest, what she ranks as futile is the championing of a solution to essentially be the dissolution of the state of Israel which is so obviously NOT a realistic solution because there is no workable way to do that without Israel internally collapsing (not going to happen) or nuking the place (not going to happen). All that this rhetoric has done is allowed anti-semites to glom onto this and cheer it on. These are not the people you want to be having supporting the Palestinian cause (they certainly care naught for Palestine). It seems you're the one attempting to strawman her argument by oversimplifying something she rightly calls out as extremely complex and not something that is appropriate to "make content" about.

That is quite literally not how experienced coders work. Instead they get engrossed in the one problem they are working on until completion. Context switching creates significant overhead and results in loss of focus on a particular solution. It quite literally results in worse code.

@vikare06 lower budgets, shorter deadlines, lower standards of what constitutes viable animation for children's shows, cheaper, less talented artists being used, mass outsourcing of talent to the cheapest animation shops possible, take your pick.

@RepMTG What he did is quite literally medical malpractice and fraud. He could have just refused to administer vaccines, but instead he misrepresented what he was injecting into people and lying to the legal guardians of children as to what medical assistance they were getting.

It is worth pointing out that at the point of the presentation a lot of what was being seen there was being faked and didn't actually have a proper in-game implementation yet. Also the in-game versions of what were shown are not 1:1 technically the same as the demo, but it's so close it doesn't matter. They're generally great at doing this stuff.
