I don't much like the idea of teams owning microservices (or services used as a way to decouple teams from each other). I'd prefer to use bounded contexts for that. Teams work on stories—full end to end implementations of a narrow vertical slice. 1/4

@davefarley77 watched your latest video on mistakes. Specifically about tools, I would point out that language choices need to be separated from programs used for Dev. Languages need to suit the Team from the most skilled to the least and a language that has a Road map! Thoughts?
Again: the purpose of testing is NOT to build confidence in the product. The purpose of testing is to challenge the product to reveal where and how confidence is unwarranted, so people can deal with problems we discover. Justifiable confidence may be a byproduct of that process.
@dpaulmerrill Let's not forget that not all apps have the right architecture, to test in isolation. It is most important to aim automation at as many layers of the application as possible. If something doesn't work for the user, it doesn't work at all!!
