@Hannah_Digest The most stressful is covering a class for Teacher and still doing my TA duties ie changing books readers… but if I am ever away none of my duties are covered. Having no PPA time to prep for interventions and SEN support! I could go on 😊

Why does everyone think TAs are the least trained or educated within the classroom? I am tired of this mainstream opinion. I have a different degree and different training it’s not less just specialised for my role!

@Hannah_Digest @senresourceblog The job has changed beyond belief but the professional standing has not kept up momentum. The best practice award has completely tripled TAs workload and although TAs are interviewed and recognised. No extra pay or promotion for the TA. Praise for hard work doesn’t pay bills.

@CoastalK8 @UNISONinSchools @guardian @RobWebster_ @TeacherTapp When I as a TA are asked to cover it’s on my own with no other member of staff supporting.. teachers have TAs when teaching.. so no fair.
