@slattstudio 'Move bookcase' completely gives the game away. I read your newsletter about parsers the other day, and totally feel ya.
@slattstudio I really liked how AGDI addressed it for the QFG2 remake. They let you choose between parser base and point and click base, but also allowed a hybrid system where you were given a selection while they still had some hidden inputs you could type out.
@slattstudio Even with a P&C interface this was not needed. Click on a book? Take it. Read the book through inventory. Click on the side panel? Move the bookshelf. Why spoil it with a menu?
@slattstudio AGDI tried to preserve this experience with QFG2VGA by offering a list but also a text input so you could ignore the list if you wanted.
