@shockproofbeats As a second generation Irish kid I am very, very familiar with this crossing. My Dad was a lorry driver so our trips from Coventry to Holyhead included no stops but it was always the quickest route..although this meant that we got to Holyhead about 6 hours before the boat sailed.
@shockproofbeats I'm now regularly doing the sailing in the opposite direction with my own kids, although this is from Belfast to Liverpool and that has cabins..luxury.
