I thought this was pretty accurate, I always laugh when I get around other people and they call somebody on the bench a bum. The guys sitting on the are would be the strongest most athletic people you would ever meet in your life.
@shawnemerriman @brgridiron even cfl or these UFL guys
@shawnemerriman @brgridiron I've always said any NFL player was the best at his position on his college team. That's why all rookies can't believe how much faster the game is! lol
@shawnemerriman @brgridiron People don’t realize the last guy on the roster and every guy on the practice squad were far and away the best guy on his college team.
Well.. from any industry, you have people who are noticeably great at what they do, but on the other side you can spot when people don’t equate to the talent around them. If you go to a barber and they fuck your hair up, I’m sure you’d be mad and call them a bum.. but because they know how to cut hair better than 90% of people, does that make them immune to being called anything negative? They are a bum in comparison to their peers, that’s all 🤷🏻♂️
@shawnemerriman @brgridiron I definitely say "bum" a lot but with the full understanding that the worst college football player on the worst team is leagues better than I'll ever be lol.
@shawnemerriman @brgridiron Charlie “Clipboard Jesus” Whitehurst was the man! He’s was absolutely better then anyone sitting at home
@shawnemerriman @brgridiron They made a show once called pros vs joes & very rarely did a joe win
@shawnemerriman @brgridiron Football Jesus, got to love Charlie Whitehurst
