Men and women are held to completely different standards in divorce and family courts. The man receive every benefit of the doubt; the woman gets dragged for the smallest transgression (even if the man did the same thing multiple times).
Overheard someone on the tube say “He’s on the specky.” I was actually on the subway but I prayed for a second that I were in London so I could pretend “specky” meant something other than “spectrum”.
I’ve noticed that a common tactic of men in divorces is to refuse to leave the marital home over the wife’s objections, putting her in a weaker negotiating position and forcing her into bad settlements. (Women tend not to use this tactic.) #coercivecontrol
It makes more sense to tell men to stop abusing, than to tell women to stop complaining about abuse.
Is it weird that to me, women of any race are all equal, but I divide men into white vs. POC? Meaning I’d throw any man (of any race) under the bus to protect any woman. I’d throw any white man under the bus to protect any of the above.

Mine would kick and hit me during my sleep, presumably because I snored. It eventually led me to sleep on the floor. I slept on a cold, tiled floor every night for years. That doesn’t happen any longer.
