Recall this Q&A after a talk on Moore's Law where I suggested that the biggest perf. bottleneck on modern hardware is programming culture. Got a lot of pushback, but Microsoft benchmarking Explorer against FilePilot feels like a huge win for the Handmade crowd on their efforts.

Windows Central claims (based on an inside source) that Microsoft is using File Pilot internally as a benchmark for their Windows Explorer improvements: windowscentral.com/microsoft/wind… One dev with a Handmade mindset is all it takes to force Microsoft to change course :)
