@PascalL3884 @grantmccagg @Liams_Hockey The argument is that “undrafted = limited” is meaningless, and that his physical tools have value if deployed properly. If every mistake proves low hockey IQ, then every young defenseman who makes bad reads is doomed. Development is literally about fixing those reads.

@PascalL3884 @grantmccagg @Liams_Hockey Pascal, “went undrafted” isn’t an argument. Mark Giordano went undrafted and won a Norris. Torey Krug and Dan Boyle became impact NHL defensemen too. Arber’s physicality and edge are tools. The question is whether MSL is maximizing them, not whether Arber was drafted.

Colorado may never again get the Makar of 2024-25. He went from 92 points to 79 last season and dealt with multiple upper-body injuries. It’s a big overpay for me.

@IceMetrix Larkin is a good C, but he’s 30, coming off a 67-point season, and carries an $8.7M cap hit through 2030-31. You’re giving up your #1 prospect for a player whose best years may already be behind him. Not so sure I’d do that.
