Google fires 28 employees involved in sit-in protest over $1.2B Israel contract They badged into work but wore masks for their protest to hide their identities. Googlers’ average IQ score just skyrocketed! nypost.com/2024/04/17/bus…
@rich_goldberg Good, but didn't Google tolerate earlier on site protests?
@rich_goldberg All these protests because of Israels brutal military occupation, plus the decades of human rights violations and war crimes. Yet no action against an extremist right wing government committing war crimes.
@rich_goldberg In your view, has Israel ever made a mistake?
@rich_goldberg The prognosis for Google is dim, that is, until upper management gets their head out of the clouds and dumps DEI.
@rich_goldberg Actually Google announced another round of firing employees and moving jobs overseas. Even the protestors that weren’t fired might not have a good-paying job at Google: kiro7.com/news/trending/…
@rich_goldberg The fired protesters are a living example of non essential workers
@rich_goldberg Google employees throwing a tantrum about Project Nimbus only resulted in them being fired. They should've instead continued working on the project, secretly installing a weakness that would allow for a single shot in exactly the right spot to take down the entire system.
