@NYRChip23 Also, 6 years and four coaches into his tenure overseeing a rebuild that saw a lot of things fall into place, the last two watching him maneuver a Presidents Trophy winner to dead last in the East and in need of a fresh rebuild, seems fair to say Drury is not good at what he does

@NYRChip23 There is really little benefit. It is what it is. However it also doesn’t require any doomsayers to observe that for a long time, the Rangers have been objectively very bad at turning first round picks into players who come anywhere near their potential.

@NYRChip23 I’m not an “It’s the GMs fault, fire his ass” guy but, man, leaving Drury in charge of a retool, rebuild, whatever you want to call it, is simply criminal. 4 coaches, Sullivan and Miller were gonna change the culture. All of it. How does Dolan have an ounce of faith left in him?

@NYP_Brooksie Laviolette’s explanation was pure absurdity. Referencing “certain players they work with in these situations,” obviously avoiding calling out Mika by name because having him out there instead of Chytil at the end of this game is simply indefensable.

@DaveyUpper I get it, we were too successful winning consecutive Cups from 2018-2022 to sacrifice too much valuable ice time to unproven high draft picks who are the future of the organization. Plus the organization is so well stocked with career 4th liners who are due their time as well.

@MollieeWalkerr I agree Coach. Just a thought, have you noticed who a particular player around the net or in the box for the majority of goals against this past week? Perhaps consider sitting one of the absolute worst defensemen in the NHL.

@TimCPeel20 @PKSubban1 @DFOHockey That has to be a joke. He doesn't mean to hurt anyone, he just acknowledges it's a bad habit that just happens to hurt other plays and he sees no need to correct. I have to give credit where it's due to anyone who can say that with a straight face.

@NYP_Brooksie Isn't that what the Rangers do though? Would be nice if they actually learned from past mistakes, but doesn't seem to be the case with the new regime so far.
