Young American Kaedi Cecala, who was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome in 2020, overcame the disease thanks to stem cells donated by Karol Zwierzynski from Poland 🇵🇱 Several years after Kaedi’s recovery, Karol flew from Poland to the U.S. to personally attend her wedding. He was introduced to the guests as the person who gave her a second chance at life.
