@syringegun buuuuuut i can definitely say that we weren't ever really taught much creative /fiction/ writing aside from the most basic narrative structure and studying other books i learned more about how to write a story/narrative in my animation classes in college than i did in school

@syringegun -and that was your fallback if you didn't do as well as you'd hoped, or the questions on the papers didn't suit what you'd studied or you just got plain unlucky but in terms of time spent in class on it, it was def v low still important, but more self-directed
