@ryQuant @MasonFoard Correct, but I think they were too ambitious. Using $1.5B of USD reserves to pay down convertibles (reducing STRC dividend coverage) while selling BTC at the same time wasn’t well judged. With BTC falling again, optionality is reduced and we’re now relying on a BTC rebound.

On the day of the largest nominal price crash in Bitcoin’s history, February 5th, STRC went to $93.67. One day later it was back at $98.76. Strategy has acquired 130,204 more Bitcoin since then.

@PeterSchiff You also said this in Sept 2022 when $MSTR was ~$20. In July 2025 it ran to $447 (~22x) and even after pulling back to today’s $126, that’s still ~6x from those levels. Same Schiff, different day.

ATMs, convertible debt & preferred stocks are simply financial engineering tools. When Google uses these tools, it’s visionary capital allocation. But if Strategy uses the same exact tools, it’s a ponzi scheme. Haters will hate.

$GOOG's proposed $80B capital raise includes a $15B convertible preferred and a $40B ATM. Financing tools popularized by $MSTR to acquire Bitcoin are now being used by a Mag 7 company to build AI. AI and Bitcoin are the digital rails of the future.

@mikewmunz Not the sale of the 32 BTC. The two biggest mistakes so far were burning through the USD reserve that was meant to provide 18+ months of dividend coverage, and committing to no ATM issuance below 2.5x mNAV. Both reduced flexibility when it was needed most.
