Andy Burnham signed off on the Manchester SEZ. Steve Rotheram signed off on the Liverpool SEZ and Freeport. Former FM Mark Drakeford signed off on 8 SEZs and 2 Freeports for Wales despite knowing the dangers of deregulated zoning. 6 days into office Rachel Reeves refused permission for the National Audit Office to investigate Englands 48 SEZs and 8 Freeports despite a House of Commons report citing lack of transparency, questions over value for taxpayers money, and ignoring the Nolan principles.
