You're right. But you're not looking at the other end of it. All companies run due to a small minority of efficient workers and a vast majority of low effort ones. Guess what? The efficient workers will pitch AI-based solutions to all the manual system work that can be automated and creates human errors. Because that's what efficient workers do. And to make more money, the smarter companies will eventually go along with it. Guess what that will do? It will stop those companies from creating new jobs that otherwise would have been created if AI wasn't there to do it. So, yes, it's true. Jobs aren't going anywhere. But new jobs won't be created. Why hire ten people to do 100 tasks on a regular basis, when you can hire 1 man that can run 10 AI agents to do those same 100 tasks? All you have to do is pay that 1 man well enough. You do that over and over again, over a long enough period of time. You're looking at jobs being taken away by AI.

@Cristina_AC_X It's true in a lot of companies, but not in the smart ones. The smart ones are by default better and they're usually the ones that would scale and last over the years. And they're the ones that matter the most.

Don't be so sure. A lot of influencers aren't making anything anymore. Sure, AI/SI won't take their jobs, but what's the point of having a job, if it doesn't pay you anything?
