Dear abuse survivors: You never have to forgive them. You don’t have to show compassion, understanding or grace to the people who hurt you. When people tell you that the parents who hurt your body did their “best,” that is a lie. It was about their need for power and control.
@gerrydiamond71 As a kindergarten teacher, I see more and more students that come with severe trauma. These babies don't know how to deal with it, so it comes out as behavior issues. Many teachers need specialized training in trauma informed responses.

I can fully vouch for this. Was isolated, bullied, mocked, and ridiculed as a child and it sucked. Eventually I find the right group of people and overcame my past to thrive
