People don’t want monthly “we’re building” updates. People want a clear commitment from the team , a clear roadmap of upcoming development, listings, buy backs , burns, & a clear statement of trust so that they know what they’re investing in is here to stay. Projects with nothing to offer are reaching 10s and hundreds of millions while you are sitting at 98% down despite having one of the strongest communities & biggest names in crypto. You have everything needed to make a comeback for the history books if you TRULY WANT TO. But if you are just vaguely posting “we are here” trying to make people forget. Trust me NO ONE WILL FORGET THIS. It will follow you for the rest of your life. Future projects , future companies everyone will know the story of Abandoning ION.

Jesus never said “I am God, worship me” in those exact words. This was my go-to challenge as a Muslim. “Show me one verse where He says the words: I am God, worship me.” He did something better. He acted like God in front of people who’d kill Him for it — and let them draw the conclusion. “Show me one verse where He says the words!” I demanded. As if a con man announcing “I’m God” would settle anything anyway. Anyone can say words. Watch what He DID. He forgave sins — not against Himself, against GOD — and the scholars gasped: “Who can forgive sins but God alone?” Mark 2:7. He didn’t correct them. He healed a man to prove He had the right. He took the divine name — the one so holy Jews wouldn’t speak it — and wore it: “before Abraham was, I AM.” John 8:58. They picked up rocks to kill Him on the spot. They knew EXACTLY what He claimed. He received worship — from lepers, from disciples, from Thomas crying “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28) — and every time, He kept it. Real prophets refuse worship (Acts 10:26). He never once did. You wanted a sentence. He gave you a LIFE — forgiving, I AM-ing, accepting worship, and dying for the claim. He didn’t need to say the words… He proved it with authority no liar could fake and no prophet ever DARED. Then He rose from the dead to sign it.

Imagine standing before Christ one day and hearing: "You watched thousands of hours of entertainment. You read and watched endless news. You argued and bickered online. You scrolled for years. But you barely opened the Book I gave you." That thought convicts me. It reminds me to keep returning to Scripture, because no voice matters more than the voice of God speaking through His Word.

When I was Muslim, I knew the story in Surah 2. King Saul leads his army out, God tests them at a river — don’t drink, or you’re not with me — and only a few pass. Then they fight, and David kills Goliath. Surah 2:249-251. Clean story. Until you open the Bible and find that the river test isn’t Saul’s at all. It’s Gideon’s. Judges 7. God tells Gideon his army is too big. So he tests them at the water. The men who lap like a dog go one way, the men who kneel go another. God whittles 32,000 men down to 300, so Israel can’t brag that they won by their own strength. That’s the test. And it belongs to GIDEON. A judge. About 150 years BEFORE Saul was ever king. You know what shook me? The Quran took Gideon’s water test, pinned it on Saul, and then stitched the David and Goliath battle onto the end of it. Two separate stories, from two different centuries, fused into one. It’s the exact same thing the Quran does with Moses and Jacob. Take a detail from one hero, glue it onto another, compress the timeline. I used to say the Bible mixed things up. But the Bible keeps Gideon and Saul as two distinct men, 150 years apart, with two distinct stories. It’s the later book that merged them. And here’s what I couldn’t ignore. Gideon’s 300 won so that no one could boast. The whole point was: the victory is God’s, not yours. That’s the Gospel in advance. You don’t win by your strength. You win by His. “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord.” Zechariah 4:6. The Bible kept the story straight because the story was going somewhere. It was going to a cross, where God won the victory alone, so no one could ever boast they saved themselves.

Let me be honest. The story of Moses and the rock used to mean nothing to me as a Muslim. The people are dying of thirst in the desert. God tells Moses to strike a rock, and water pours out to save them. Exodus 17. Cool miracle. Moving on. That’s how I read it. Then I read what Paul wrote about it. “They drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.” 1 Corinthians 10:4. The rock was struck once, and life poured out for everyone dying. But here’s the part that wrecked me. Later, the people are thirsty AGAIN. And this time God says don’t strike it — just speak to it. Numbers 20:8. Moses strikes it anyway. And God is furious. It costs Moses the Promised Land. Why such a harsh punishment over hitting a rock twice? Because the Rock is only ever struck ONCE. Christ was struck one time for sin. After that, you don’t strike Him again. You just speak to Him. Moses broke the picture before anyone understood it. Islam handed me a water miracle. The Bible handed me the Rock that was struck so I’d never thirst again.

So-called age verification for social media is spreading across the world, framed as an effort to create a safer internet for children. In reality, age verification lays the foundation for a fully controlled internet. The age verification rush must be slowed down, and politicians need to recognize the consequences of different types of legislation and systems. Age verification is the wrong approach to fix “the social media problem” The big tech social media companies are bad. Their business model is bad; it is based on mass surveillance and manipulation, and they cooperate with governments in mapping entire populations. But age verification is fundamentally the wrong approach to preventing children from using big tech social media platforms. Introducing age verification is based on coercion; the state forces social media companies to verify their users’ identities. But the big tech social media platforms already know which of their users are children. Their business model depends on knowing this. They know how old users are, and they know exactly what type of person they are. As age verification is based on coercion, politicians could instead force platforms to stop doing the things politicians consider harmful to children, or force them to block children (again, they know who they are) from using their services. But instead, politicians seek to massively invade everyone’s privacy and undermine democratic rights on a global scale. In other words, the latter is the real objective – they do not want to protect children; they want to impose control. Slippery slope of age verification It is undeniable that age verification threatens freedom of expression, risks increasing mass surveillance, and is likely to lead to censorship. It will not only shrink the online world and reduce young people’s right to privacy (for example, if VPN services were to be restricted); but also risks becoming a significant step toward a controlled internet for everyone. Most age verification is identity verification Most countries are now considering introducing age verification systems, meaning that everyone would have to identify themselves either to the service/website they want to use or to a third party capable of linking them to their activity on that service or website. This is not age verification but identity verification, and the consequence is therefore that freedom of information is restricted (you can no longer visit regulated websites anonymously) and that you can no longer post anonymously on social media. This is a major problem in countries like the UK and Germany where the police conduct raids on people’s homes for posting content on social media that the authorities dislike. Or in the United States, where authorities are trying to pressure tech companies into revealing the identities behind accounts protesting ICE. Social media identity verification removes important tools for activists in countries where criticizing those in power is dangerous. Restrictions on app store or operating system level Some countries are looking to impose identity verification at the app store level or even within the operating system itself. This is an exciting experiment, since this is possible to circumvent using open-source operating systems. Some countries are already looking to include open-source systems. Since open-source systems cannot be controlled, politicians would ultimately need to ban devices that are not controlled by the state. The end point: telescreens like those in Orwell’s 1984, devices that both monitor you and broadcast only the information approved by the state. The Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) alternative and the EU The EU has presented its own age verification app as “completely anonymous”. The idea is to use Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) cryptography to break the link between the age credential issuer (EU governments) and the regulated services/sites. Currently, the EU app does not have ZKP functionality, contrasting Ursula von der Leyen’s claim that the app ”is technically ready to be used”. But more importantly, the app is currently designed to always function without ZKP technology; if ZKP is unavailable, the app falls back to a non-ZKP model. Even if fully developed ZKP technology could be implemented in the future, it would remain an optional extra feature that countries may choose to disable and that the EU could remove at any time.
