@missmayn The difference is, I get nothing in return for all that money taken from me in taxes. Paying into insurance means they’ll cover my loss. There’s a direct benefit. My money being stolen in taxes to cover someone else’s loss helps THEM while hurting ME.
@missmayn Higher thinking people realize that that’s exactly how the government works too except it goes to their friends, connections, and other countries.

@missmayn This assumes a competent government that isn’t full of institutionalized corruption in the form of lobbying, inside trade info and kickbacks.

@missmayn It's why the Nordic countries have the highest concentration of metal bands. When you dont have to worry about healthcare, you can get back to the important things.
