Folk hero characters in the age of AI(decentralized authorship, global audience) are actually MOST prone to converging on universal archetypes. Tung tung has resolved towards a trickster in the same way that Pepe the Frog did. Having 1000+ authors has a dampening effect on the complexity of the character, & the global audience doesn’t have enough shared literacy/language between them to retain anything more than that familiar totem. A new medium is often heralded by very crystalline archetypes because it bridges those gaps in literacy very easily- Charlie Chaplin(in the same trickster role) ushered in silent film to literate & illiterate audiences at once- but you should understand the historical trend as resolving DEEPER towards archetypes, not just finding them again, because it serves an increasingly connected world
The emergence of Tung Tung Tung Tung Tung Sahur as a sort trickster character in this narratives is actually comforting. Under the novel veneer of slop, there remains the same archetypes and narratological types humans have always returned to.
@KarstenBeoulve color is legit such a bitch to learn, it totally takes you by surprise since its the opposite of line-drawing. i found that using hard, solid color brushes forced me to look at my references more and really get a sense of the palettes.
