But supplementing magnesium is not the same as taking a multivitamin, which may or may not have magnesium, and if it does, may or may not have a significant amount of it.

@onlybohn @baddestmamajama @Brooksrw2010 Different strokes for different folks. When I wanted to lose weight I ate like 400-500 under your prescription (M, 180lb, 1500/day, burned 250-500/day). Did it for 3 months, lost weight quickly, felt good and was happier as a result. I could then focus on muscle and maintenance.

When I search this all I get is police killings, not police deaths. I would not be surprised if the US has a higher police death rate given gun availability.

@TheRealDHR @gagood @jurijfedorov @wil_da_beast630 This is true, but the US has the unique problem of gun availability. Something I’ve wanted to see is number of police deaths by country. We need also consider the difference in danger/risk to police when comparing across countries.
@RadCentrism It’s amazing the lengths people will go to demonize police. Cop shoots would be stabber, possibly saving victim’s life? Obviously racist. He wanted to kill a black person. Cop refrains from shooting? Obviously racist. He didn’t care about victim’s life cause she was black.

If so, they’re just a waste of money. If you can show me a study that finds benefits to taking one, I might consider it. Til then I’m saving my money.
@bethechange722 @tomabella @EricsElectrons @thedgtalempress Nvm I found it. The NIH thread is on magnesium specifically, not multivitamins. I checked three popular ones (kirkland, centrum, pure). Two had only 50mg and one had zero. Magnesium seems promising, but I’m not sure a multivitamin is the best way to get it.
