@matthewcashmore Juryless trials happen in the UK (and The Republic of Ireland) but their use is only for specific offences, but that doesn't mean they should be more widespread. Bottom line successive Gov't have failed to do this properly and ordinary people end up suffering.

@matthewcashmore You don't have to look outside of the UK to see the dangers of streamlining the CJS just look at the Single Justice Procedure. Everyone knows it's wrong and broken but no one wants to fix it. Person with dementia not paying vehicle excise duty anyone?

@RDPHistory It is clearly a labour of love but as you say this platform just doesn't deserve it. I can't help but think that with the current batah*t events on the mother side of the Atlantic I feel the timeline will be targeted by many more who seek to change the narrative.
