@GergelyOrosz @mipsytipsy I wonder how that pendulum is influenced by macroeconomics. When money was cheap, teams grew quickly and engineers transitioning to EM was a response to that. With the current economy, more and more EMs might feel stuck in their manager career and thus move back to IC roles.
