@0xkimo @convexdegen If you are not a HFT fund you shouldn't see high-speed data feeds or have privileged access to market data. Are you an arber and want to profit from the opportunities on different stock exchanges? Get some skin in the game and buy a datacenter next to the NYSE.

@convexdegen Great design choice! How are people okay with that? This is completely opposed to an open financial system. Instead of giving anyone the opportunity to capture value, it is left to those with the most capital. This is no different to the legacy tradfi system we have today.

@Spoof_LTD @NomadML @ratwell0x For funds that you wanna bridge to and from mainnet? Yes. For funds that have never touched mainnet? No. CEXes are building L2 on-ramps today+there are already working bridges that allow you to bridge between L2s/sidechains.

@evmaddict @daddysether @zhusu @optimismPBC @arbitrum @0xPolygon Thing is,UX of ETH Killers like avax/bsc is just like the UX of Arbitrum/Optimism. Add a new network to metamask and ur done. Compared to ETH Killers they just lack marketing+on-ramps+lower fees.I think if someone 'gets' defi on avax/bsc,they will be able to use L2s just as well.

@tradetherapist @sassal0x @tomuky @RyanSAdams It is reasonable to assume that in a world where >10% of Ethereum supply is locked in an L2 and that L2 gets hacked, that social consensus would decide for Ethereum to just hardfork. This is contrary to the 'code is law' narrative and a fundamental difference to e.g. Bitcoin.

@tradetherapist @sassal0x @tomuky @RyanSAdams The whole idea of modular design is that the L1 provides security+decentralization and the L2s provide scalability. Roll-ups 'bundle' multiple transactions into a smaller one and the data of that transaction is still submitted to the L1 and can thus not be altered/deleted.

@tradetherapist @sassal0x @tomuky @RyanSAdams The general idea is -that in the future- u won't have to interact with Ethereum mainnet at all. All Exchanges will have direct on-ramps to L2s and bridging between L2s for low fees is already possible without touching mainnet (for example using hop.exchange ).

@0xfoobar NFA: (Usually) in TradFi you cannot deduct unrealized losses. I am now considering to use OS bundle listings to list one blue chip nft+19 rugs as a bundle for the value of the blue chip. Not sure if this could work, but I will def propose this idea to my accountant next year.
