Undertook a relatively chunky web app testing project this weekend. I decided to go 100% open source. The setup involved the latest Hermes with glm-5.2 to plan and orchestrate, Skyvern for end-to-end browser control, and Qwen3-VL for vision (analysing screenshots). Very pleased with the results and even more so with the costs! Can't help but feel a bit... ...liberated!
I’m at a very similar stage having reached my goal of 70kg and oscillating 1kg or so above and below every week. I’m now trying to find my maintenance dose and dropped down from the 15mg to 12.5mg with no noticeable increase in hunger. I’ll try to 10mg next and keep going until I find the lowest effective dose. I’m a type 2 diabetic so I’m not sure I’ll ever quit Mounjaro altogether.
The sudden withdrawal of Fable 5 really bothers me. Not just because it is the first time we seem to have taken a step back in what had appeared to be steady, forward-only progress with LLMs, but because of the implications to a business that has business-critical workloads now being handled by agents using these models. The risk is huge IMHO if operations now depend on the whims of government officials, or indeed the major AI labs. To us practitioners, it's a wake up call. We should actively build resilience into our AI products and agents by ensuring that multiple foundation models are fully tested and enabled, so we can switch from one to another with minimal disruption. And by multiple, I mean models from different labs and countries, including privately hosted instances of open-weight models. The risk is too big otherwise. #myownwords

Spot-on. Having managed to go from 123kg in February 2025 to 69kg today, and after trying every single miracle diet on earth and yo-yoing for decades, I finally understood that I was ill and I needed to get my illness treated properly.
Obesity is not a willpower failure. It is a complex chronic disease. "Eat healthy, move more” was never the deep wisdom it was sold as. If weight-loss influencers and nutrition gurus failed you, that is not your fault. Use science to address the issue. Science > Slogans.

@MounjaroNotes 1.72cm height. The NHS says I should be between 54kg and 68kg which sounds quite unrealistic to be honest but if I can get to 70 or just under, I’d be a happy man.

Excellent wrap up for a crazy year! Couldn’t agree more with point 4. I always use Claude Code as a reference of how an agentic application should work. You give it a challenge and it uses reasoning, tools, your own code and conversation history as context, search to solve it!
