Everyone seems to be talking about loops now. Agent loops. Reflection loops. Memory loops. Learning loops. Different companies. Different architectures. Same underlying mechanic. I think the AI era separates two questions: How do I become selectable? And… What actually makes me selected? SEO taught us how to become discoverable. GEO is teaching us how to become selectable. AI-mediated discovery changes the question. SEO asked: Can people find you? AI asks: Can the system confidently act through you? Not just retrieve you. Not just cite you. Recommend you. Select you. Eventually, execute through you. Visibility gets you noticed. Trust reduces uncertainty. Good to see more companies talking about AI discovery. Small tweak though: AI doesn’t really rank. It resolves. The future question isn’t “How do we rank #1?” It’s “How do we become the trusted recommendation?” That’s a very different optimisation problem.
