@HarryStebbings And the rebuild almost never happens because it requires one thing most founders can't do: Admit the culture they're so proud of is exactly what broke the company. The values deck. The all-hands energy. The "we move fast" identity. You can't fix what you're still celebrating.

@BStulberg Agree. And I'll add what nobody in VC-land wants to hear: The founders burning out at 34, the 80-hr weeks worn like a badge — that's not excellence. That's fear dressed up as ambition. Excellence doesn't scale by destroying the people building it.
