For context: This part of Idaho in particular has long been considered a hotbed for neo-Nazi Aryan hate groups. Last year, numerous members of the hate group Patriot Front were convicted for trying to violently disrupt a pride event in Coeur d’ Alene. Idaho’s last GOP Chairman participated in the Charlottesville riot. And yes, all of this information was available for the NCAA to Google.

@jemelehill Jemele, you got some of the details wrong, but you definitely got the gist right. dailykos.com/stories/2022/8…
Live just across the border from CDA. That part of North Idaho used to have David Duke's compound. They are extremely neo-Nazi! They try to be a resort town but...... Shame on the NCAA for booking them in Idaho 30 mi from their game in Washington State. It's not like the NCAA didn't know when the tournament was going to be. The NCAA could have booked those hotel rooms last year & got them in Washington. It's horrible What happened to them!
@jemelehill That race baiting huckster in Dr. Seuss’ The Sneetches was based on people like you.
@jemelehill Honestly, they should not do any women’s NCAA playoffs of any sport in any Red State.
@jemelehill @annaeknutson This happened yesterday btw… They are 100% proud of their racism.

@jemelehill "Idaho’s last GOP Chairman participated in the Charlottesville riot." Not quite right. Brent Regan, chairman of Kootenai County Republican Central Committee, & Idaho Freedom Foundation, has hired, platformed, paid, and endorsed Charlottesville planner. See my feed for details.
@jemelehill @TweetMore12 Why would the NCAA host tournament games in this well know bastion of white supremacy?
@jemelehill How much time have you spent in Idaho?
