The Utah athletic department releases statement saying the women's basketball program is "deeply troubled and shaken" by the racism they encountered in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho during the NCAA Tournament. abc4.com/sports/utes-de…
@dana_greene What actually happened tho. Has it been posted anywhere?
@dana_greene I had a coworker from Idaho who would often talk about how there is only 3 things in Idaho, potato’s, ghost towns and nazis. He was serious too. Said there is no reason to live there unless you’re a nazi and that’s why he left
@dana_greene Idaho isn’t in the top 475th place that I would visit
@dana_greene Ain’t no diversity in Utah. Except on their sports teams
@dana_greene @rolandsmartin Why is this such a surprise? There isn’t diversity outside of sports at PWIs. There are pockets of our country that are disgusting and it’s ignored as if it will somehow go away. Sadly enough…nothing will happen moving forward.
@dana_greene And people were so angry last year, when South Carolina & LSU were subjected to this mess..... ONCE they spoke up about it. I hope during these upcoming games, the media will let the viewers that there's no place for this racial mess. It's Basketball, let the women play. 🙄
@dana_greene And then people acted shocked that things like DEI and AA exist. These racists are also managers, heads of HR, team leaders and CEO's...there is no way they are "picking the best candidate"
@dana_greene How loud were they being?
