@HSBC_UK The response is HSBC were operational throughout the pandemic so why the extension? The point being the housing market was shut down so how could we have found a property to purchase when 3 months of the 6 month mortgage porting period was lost to the lockdown? Feel let down HSBC

@HSBC_UK Dissapointed HSBC are NOT reimbursing Early Repayment Charges when porting mortgages beyond the six month period. Ministerial lock-down meant the housing market was essentially closed-down for three months so unsure why the extension has been denied.
