Perhaps I'm the only one, but now that we lived in a distributed world ... I don't know where to live: 1. SF Bay Area Still #1 for SaaS, but SF is rough, and the Peninsula is so boring. We have a Palo Alto office but I only like it, don't love it.
2. Miami I've been going since 2017 and we've done 3+ meet-ups there. I love it. However, while it is now a tech center of sorts, it's not a SaaS / B2B center. Too remote, unfortunately.
3. New York Yes, NYC is great. But the winters are brutal, and I don't have the history here for it to be worth it outside of the nice weather months. No negatives, just not me for most of year.
4. Las Vegas I mean, I sort of hate Vegas. But I'm realizing so many B2B founders and CEOs have quietly moved here. There's a quiet B2B community. It's close to California, and basically tax-free. It's just ... Vegas.
@jasonlk The last two winters have been very mild, only went below freezing a handful of times and ine or two light snowfalls. That may be brutal compared to CA though.
@jasonlk Miami is the 6th borough of New York and palm beach is basically Greenwich Live between New York and miami - there solved it for you 😉😉
@jasonlk So.. uh... winter is only from late Dec until Mar/April. Most NYers who feel as you do have a second home in a warm climate and it's only 1-2hr flight.
@jasonlk Solution is NYC for half the year! You can figure out the rest
