No medals this week but I've got something much better to brag about. 8 of my 15 models are not burning in round 261!
Using log_a(b) for engineering feature interactions is asinine. 64% of its range is undefined or 0 in the domain of @numerai data features and what is left is anti symmetric. Calling it art does not improve the bad math. Even simply multiplying random features is a little better.
Looks like I have ruffled some feathers with one of my tweets today. The person is resorting to name calling me on Rocketchat. Sportsmanship is in taking legitimate criticism in stride and not whining about. Those who can do and those who can't teach. 😆

I started running a new non staked model on @numerai classic that I'm calling Diamond which is a pretty interesting ensemble of tweaked AdaBoosting and gradientboosting classifiers using @scikit_learn's voting classifier to assign weighting. Starting off pretty nice 🔥

I have been testing 9 more model slots over the past three months on the @numerai classic tournament and malachite/amethyst have been smoking my main model. With amethyst having the slight lead I have decided to place in my recent large $NMR buy to this model! Let’s gooooooo 🔥
Both of my models are now in the top 20! Awesome! They both use the same technique on slightly different data (model2 doesn't use entire validation set to train). The secret sauce has been the technique I have used to shrink the features to about 250 features in total.

Fortunately, another strong finish on Numerai's main contest. Hopefully, my good luck continues. I've learned through the years that even a good model requires some good luck to go through a prolonged period without hiccups! I'm currently ranked 19th on the leaderboard!
