@CNN Surprised to see not even single state in US lead as example and break decades old tradition of freeways and highways and turned into public transport infrastructure especially Metro rail within the city commutes and high speed rail lines for inter cities/states.
@finalusername @CNN Most large urban areas have subways, commuter rail, light rail etc. Most heavily subsidized, many downright dangerous except during commuting hours.
@finalusername @CNN that'd require using money to better their communities and states, and that's a no-no.
