We said we'd be back to say hi one day + a promise is a promise. What we didn't expect was Micks Hut Preston to arrive at station later with hundreds of pounds worth of food+drink to give to the kids for free. Chips pizzas garlic bread + juice. Please retweet for these legends ❤️

@AvantiWestCoast @jogillies Just to clarify, this is untrue. We are traveling on a coach resourced ourselves. The offer of help from @AvantiWestCoast came at 10.36pm, 4 hours after we were taken off the train, and after being told by staff HERE, there was no more they could do for us. Facts are sacred.

Hi @AvantiWestCoast we've been stuck at Preston since around 630pm with 50 12 year olds. It's now 10.08pm. We've just been informed that there is no way of getting us home to Glasgow, as we can't send kids alone on taxis. A staff member has said we are effectively stuck here.
