One of the political media's most prominent & enduring biases is the bias against quiet, competent, drama-free governance. It hardly needs stating which party suffers more from this bias.
@drvolts @brianbeutler I remember as recently as 2008 political news was just a part of CNN's day. Now it's wall-to-wall and anything else is "oh yeah here's this".
@drvolts I love it when politics is boring and I can focus on other stuff. Unfortunately that isn't really good for politics reporting, and it creates terrible incentives.
