my read, not a bad spot to take profit at weekly and daily resistance for bigger size / shorter timeframe trades and a good spot to do nothing for longer term ones.

That s 35bps down sharp. As usual no one really believed it, they shorted the lows. Now pay the price. Thanks for playing.

I m watching the Bond market now and my view is the up move on rates is pretty much over with some potential backfilling and excess to upside, but no new major legs. The price driven narratives are now fully consolidated so crowds are ready to baghold it on the way down.

@SantiagoAuFund I see the vws, mercedes, tslas, all disappearing fast..all being replaced by byds and xpengs.. UBERs are leading and saying they re much cheaper and overall better cars. Don t hit me, I m just the messenger..

soon begins the final stage for housing - the phase where people who are down bad, see a 10-15% move back up, start selling their homes cheaper to buy a better one even cheaper. that is the race to the bottom. put on yer seatbealts.

@NorthstarCharts a 50% up move ? many would disagree with that 😜 but yeah that s a much healthier picture. I wouldn t have bought silver there either. The failure was to larp it as if the TA was calling the correction from the highs when in fact it called a big rally from there.

@NorthstarCharts LOL this is how larping doesn t work on the Doctor. by Jan 12th Silver Opened at $80 and had a 50% up move ahead of it. You called the correction 50% before it topped and now want to claim victory lap on the correction from the exact high ?

@NorthstarCharts yeah but this not a long deep correction yet is my point so the victory lap is unwarranted is my point.

it was such a good quant test. if u saw "Iran lAunCHeS dOWn 90%" and believed it was due to degraded launch infrastructure you are an absolute moron who doesn t understand basic statistics 😹

@ef_jack @tastyliveshow @jam_croissant still all working perfectly events wise. Oct 23 market made a move higher that topped at 5.17 long end, but needed more, now still in the process of capitulating longs. When that happens should rally big. We re retesting 2007 highs will be good to see what happens.

@kranzpatrick @Rothmus yeah I also work for US big tech and I see technical teams underwater every day while shipping at warp speed. Managers are managing meetings where productive time is sucked into quagmires.

@kranzpatrick @Rothmus Is this a serious company ? that seems like the actions of dead setup, a company who doesn t trust their own product. Strong setups are hiring more top 20% engineers and getting rid of pure managers. there s layers and layers to remove there, way more than devs.

@Rothmus - product being left behind in hopes that one day they ll replace the devs - eventually if the dream comes true. - bc soon realization that the dream is so detached from reality, the above will also get terminated, they ll realize it s easier for the devs to do product instead.

@Rothmus I wonder how many of y all actually understand these tech layoffs. I suspect NONE. lemme explain who s getting fired: - middle management i.e "engineering managers", especially pure managers w no hands on impact - recruiters - weaker engineers. none of those are the "devs"
