Generic AI answers generic questions. Useful AI connects to the workflows your team actually runs. The trick is control: bounded actions, approved tools, clear rules. Not “let the bot do anything.” Please no.

Internal teams have support tickets too. They just look like Slack messages: “Where’s that doc?” “What’s the process?” “Who knows how this works?” An internal knowledge bot turns that mess into searchable, source-aware answers.
