#Apple should really keep #Spotlight and #Siri separate (or at least give the option to decouple them in #MacOS #GoldenGate Settings). Currently, there is no way to use Spotlight as Spotlight (with all of its useful features), without turning Siri off completely. @daringfireball

Another unfortunate side-effect of this unwelcome change: you now can't use the up/down arrow keys (↑/↓) to quickly navigate the context menu with the keyboard — something that's extremely useful.

So @Apple has ruined #Spotlight in #MacOS27 #GoldenGate even further, by removing the useful ⌘ + ENTER shortcut to Show in Finder, replacing it instead with Ask Siri… There's currently no setting to modify this feature. #Apple #MacOS #Siri #Finder #Tech #beta

It's actually fucking terrible how @Apple violates your #privacy in #iCloud by automatically syncing your data when logging into your #AppleID in Settings with no way to opt out prior to it ALREADY syncing once, and RE-ENABLING sync on every new app install. @daringfireball

So @Google sends everyone an email about its "Partner ad settings", linking to a page that conveniently doesn't even load, so this automatic opt-in "setting" is quite literally impossible turn it off. Not on desktop, not on mobile. #Google #adtech #privacy #ads
