GLM-5.2 finished a full ErdosBench run on 226 research-level problems. It is strong but uneven. GLM has many real contributions. But it also exposes a large middle band of heuristic/gappy partials and several invalid partial arguments. On solved-yield it stays above Opus; on normalized proof-quality score it is below Opus (proof hygiene). Hence more solved, but lower score. Overall it nicely complements Opus and we place it at the same spot - 3rd - as Opus 4.8 max, right after GPT-5.5 xhigh and Kimi K2.7.

Overall, another solid release from the Chinese side. The gap with frontier models keeps narrowing.Anyone else tried GLM-5.2 yet? Curious to hear other experiences.
It’s not perfect though. Kimi K2.7 Code still feels faster for quick code changes. GLM-5.2 seems stronger when the task needs deeper reasoning over many steps.
What stood out to me: • Strong at long-horizon reasoning • 1M context actually feels usable in practice • More efficient than GLM-5.1 • Strong Multilingual capability On one complex debugging task involving traces and reflection, it performed way better than GPT-5.4 xhigh

Sonnet 4 is available in Cursor! We've been very impressed by its coding ability. It is much easier to control than 3.7 and is excellent at understanding codebases. It appears to be a new state of the art.
Yesterday I wanted to move 40GB of images from my QR menu site qrmenucreator . com from my VPS to R2 R2 is @cloudflare's S3-compatible file storage, cheap and nice and I use it for all my projects So I asked gemini-2.5-pro-max to write a script to move the files I even asked it to check everything was correct It then ran for hours and moved 40GB of images to R2 Then I added an Nginx redirect to R2, but the QR menu images didn't show up Turns out for some reason the filenames got shortened somehow, which is a disaster because the QR site is quite basic and the image paths are written in the markdown of the menus Of course the script already deleted 40GB of images from the VPS Luckily I have more backups than you can count on your hand so I asked @DanielLockyer to restore the QR menu images folder and now it's all good But lesson learnt: be very careful with AI code, it made a mistake, couldn't even find the mistake when I asked it to double check the code, and because the ENDs of the filenames looked same I didn't notice it cut the beginnings off This is why I'm both a big fan of AI code and scary of it, you might miss something like this in a more critical code set up like airplane code and not find out until it's too late And in this case AI can't even find its own mistakes
