That little movement makes the icons feel like they got personality.

On the left is my original system animation, developed entirely by myself. On the right is ColorOS 17, one of the most highly praised Android interfaces today. I'd like to share some of my design philosophy and hear your thoughts. First, I want every icon to become an active

i'm a rural mail-order seed seller, and my one rule is that i never refund a packet because "nothing grew." gardens are patient, and people aren't. last march a man in his eighties wrote me a furious letter. he said, "i planted your sunflowers by my wife's bench three years

The dumbest thing big businesses do is let B and C players into A player conversations about revenue and growth You're mapping out how to double the company and they're worried about their workload, their title and who gets credit Nothing but limitations and politics

I need to know what every user costs before I get hype.

An AI founder launches a free tool. Users love it. Sign-ups keep climbing. Then the API bill arrives. Heavy users make hundreds of requests daily, but the business earns nothing from most of them. The product is gaining traction, but the founder is running out of cash..

you can't figure it all out at once. i think one thing most founders, creators, and businesses have in common is the desire for results. i mean, what's the point of doing something if there's no end goal in the first place? but then, the mistake is trying so hard to make

I hate when founders start acting like hiring them is a privilege.

Cristina A.C. @Cristina_AC_X

So you're the proud founder of a successful startup and now you need to hire people. Here's what you should absolutely NOT do: 1. Make promises you can't keep. Don't promise permanent contracts, big titles, or equity to a starry-eyed developer when your LLC is two months old

Look at the difference in this redesign: Before: A cluttered header and tiny text make the user work too hard. Information is buried. After: Clean typography and a clear visual hierarchy. The product benefit is front and center.

By 2004, Steve Kessel’s job was keeping publishers calm. He ran Amazon’s physical media business, and much of his time went to reassuring the people who made books that it was fine for used copies to sit next to new ones on the same page. Books were what Amazon had been built on,

Right now there is a brand in your niche with a worse product than you doing 100k days. They don’t have significantly better creative than you either. Literally the only difference between you & this hypothetical brand is that their ROAS holds at 50k/day in spend & you can’t
