Just to clarify: this isn’t just the first time since WW2 that all incumbent parties in developed countries lost vote share. It’s the first time since this data was first recorded in 1905. Essentially the first time in the history of democracy (universal suffrage began in 1894).

@ejwallach Appreciate your work on this. One thing that looks weird to me is the increase in trx count in the last few weeks vs flattish revenue. Seems to be because ethereum txs generate a lot lower revenue. Do you know why/if that's expected?

I think comparing $XRP and $LINK's approach gives a valuable lesson on product. XRP came to banks and said "you need this". Chainlink listened to the client and their problems for years. Designed the dream product from the ground up.

The publishing figures for 2022 were rather depressing. In a country of 332 million people, only 28 books out of ~300,000 titles sold more than 500,000 copies. Eight were by one author, Colleen Hoover, and no book of history or politics sold more than 295,000 copies.

@paulg In many countries it’s still very structurally biased: standard test scores allow students to “unlock” grad schools. The best scores get to go to med school, the second best law school, etc. So obviously, almost all students choose the best school their score made available.
