Everything being subscription based
@crisisofconsc I don’t like having to pay monthly. It usually costs more than just buying the annual subscription. What’s next a subscription in order to use Zoom?
@crisisofconsc If I subscribed to every creator I enjoy, it would be over $150 per month. Yet creators need to earn a living. Solution: I continue to watch their free content and accept I'm missing out on good stuff by not subscribing.
@crisisofconsc @weaselbites And having insane cancellation fees if you dont end up wanting to use the programs for the full subscription period
@crisisofconsc True, especially after Adobe hopped on the subscription train it all went downhill.
@crisisofconsc I will use Adobe CS3 until the day I die.
@crisisofconsc I agree. However. I used to buy (wink wink) ms office. I was against the subscription. I did some math and it was cheaper if I did the subscription rather than buy full copy at the same rate as I had. But I’m sure the price has gone up so I’m probably the sucker.
@crisisofconsc The problem is not the subscription itself, its the price they set
@crisisofconsc @EmpyrealZydia10 Particularly Adobe software
