It's nice to see push back and possibly a revolt on LinkedIn against "influencers" who pump out content and info graphics that are incorrect. Big shocker, they never respond to the comments.
CDC has legit use cases, especially in systems that don't have any decent integration points. But I get that sense CDC is abused and ends up in a world of hurt because of coupling you didn't realize you created.
I'm going to start a mission on replying to infographics on LinkedIn.

Complexity is an interesting thing. Unfamiliar with something, it can seem simple. Have little context, things seem simple. Get into the weeds, complexity everywhere.

@lxztlr Absolutely! I'd go as far as saying it's a best practice to include a prefix in the stream id that includes basic entity info. This is super useful for categorisation and opens lots of scenarios.
Every now and then I think stream identity of type string is preferable over Guids in Event Sourcing.
