@rafal_makes Shiny new object syndrome. When this happens, I take 30 minutes to sketch or mindmap the new idea. I do some pre-validation tests, such as the BBQ Test, Swot, or simply pros and cons. Before I did this, I would choose A. 90% of the time; now, it is less than 50%.

@HeyImYossi What I've noticed is that some developers will get angry at anyone else's code they have to work with. How many times have your heard in an office "The last guy did it wrong, I have to start over". Most of us spend our time writing, not rewriting. Out of the comfort zone.
