I am not saying it represents all of Christianity; I am demonstrating that the actions of a minority should not represent the beliefs of the majority. Islamic terrorist groups exist because of the conflict that countries where Muslims live are locked in. If those countries were predominantly Christian, then you'd have just as many Christian terrorist groups. It's much more nuanced than just saying 'Islam is bad'.

I think it's a reflection of the fact that countries where Muslims live are being repeatedly attacked and invaded. What do you think the reason is?

Ah, so we've moved on from the holy books? Cool. Most religions at their core demand the elimination of other religions. That's sort of how it works, and it's down to those that practice the faith to interpret teachings to live the right way. Glad we've settled that. If we're now talking about international terrorism then yeah, sure, there are plenty of organisations using Islam as a justification for despicable acts. Many of the countries where Muslims reside have either been invaded or attacked in the last 20 years: Iraq, Afganistan, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, Somalia, Pakistan - oh, and Palestine. Do you have a similar list of countries where people of other religions live? Ask yourself what results in the creation of terrorist groups. Consider why the IRA came to exist. Islam is not demanding blasphemy laws in the UK.

So take everything the Quran teaches as an unequivocal demand regardless of context, but take what the bible teaches into historical context? Seems fair.
