Another example: Asking a coding tool to write complex code/abstractions that will get you promoted, and then can only be understood/modified by other people using coding tools to "Summarize what this file does".

something very strange about people writing bullet points, having ChatGPT expand it to a polite email, sending it, and the sender using ChatGPT to condense it into the key bullet points

@seismic_kiwi @British_Airways Yea I have a bit of a shocker of a story involving @British_Airways too involving a cancelled flight... We missed the rehearsal dinner for our second english wedding and had lost bags. Compensation claim is sitting unresolved with no contact after 2 weeks...

@Bandit @nzkoz Our garage had an existing split phase 240v w/ 50amp breaker. Apparently the socket indicates that it was used for an electric welder, but it works great for EV charging. The electric dryer socket in the garage was also 240v w/ 30amp breaker, so lots of existing 240v options.

@nzkoz @aotearoa_ben It makes the M1 Max not seem so expensive, considering it can run games at 4k res and 120hz/fps. Just sucks about the lack of games/bootcamp. Hopefully no one starts using them for mining.

Shutting down findmyflat.co.nz after 10 years. It still had a surprising number of recurring users. @TradeMe cut off API access without warning claiming it “mimicked existing functionality.”. It’s their call obviously, but there was no opportunity to make any changes.
