The ultimate test: give AI access to a bank account with $1,000 and a fixed amount of time. AI has to grow the balance faster than humans would. That’s superintellinge in my book. Everything else is just a glorified benchmark.

@pitdesi Ah, come on! Yes, there are 3 revenue streams but payment processing probably is the largest by far Wonder how they will keep giving 1x points for rent once Wells renegotiates the terms - esp. if they back out from giving a % for rent (for which Wells doesn't earn anything)

I don’t think it’s one or the other Maybe a better advice set is: 0. Find your strategic advantage (aka your passion and curiosity, or what you already built as an asset) 1. Identify a growing trend 2. Build a business around that trend My fav example is how Canva started as a yearbook design co. for students because @MelanieCanva was tutoring students in graphic design and saw a problem

Evrimsel içgüdüler modern hayatta ne kadar anlamsız hale gelebiliyor. Hem o kunduza üzülüyorsun hem de kendini onda görüyorsun; o çaresizlik hissi, bir yandan tanıdık bir yandan da korkutucu. Aslında durumumuz kunduzdan daha kötü. İnsan olmanın temelinde yatan üreme, sosyal ilişkiler kurma, statü arayışı, açlık tehlikesine karşı kaynak toplama gibi içgüdüleri bir de rasyonel biçimde açıklayıp kendimizi her gün tekrar ikna ediyoruz. Anlamsızlığı da bitmez tükenmez hale getiriyoruz kendimiz için. Neyse, biraz acıktım, gidip bir şeyler yiyeyim.

a horrifying video imagine feeling instinctively pulled to do a task. something that goes beyond your personal ambitions, your environment, or your job. something that comes from genetic instructions, placed down there over millions of years of evolution, screaming at you from generations past now imagine that task being impossible to do in any satisfactory way. the beaver cannot feel the water, cannot find the wood. there are genetic signals to gather items for the dam, but all the beaver can accomplish in the end is a stage three simulacra. what it will create in this artificial environment will forever be lacking in the eyes of their evolutionary instincts the beaver KNOWS there are unfinished things to do, but it cannot even conceive of what that could be. where is the water? where is the wood? what are these items meant to do? what is the purpose of it all? the beaver does not know. its brothers in the forest do, but that knowledge is forever beyond this domesticated one, who has never even been outside of an air conditioned room but it continues its toil, because the beaver cannot understand that its evolutionary ordained tasks are useless here. the rules of its environment have changed, but it lacks the faculties to recognize that; i simultaneously pity the creature and see myself in it
